MK1 Mk2 Escort GRP4 Modular rear mounted steering rack WRC Suspension Kit 

GRP4 Fabrications Modular Suspension kit for the Mk1 and Mk2 Escort is the strongest and preferred Front Suspension kit available for the Escort.

This kit is designed with Tension strut and has the Steering Rack mounted behind the Cross member giving better Ackerman angle to aid better turn in.

Tried and tested and used by Rob Duggan with winning results.

Supplied as a complete kit as per Picture.

It includes:

Super strong In-situ adjustable Track control arms with Aurora Outer Hi-Angle Spherical Bearing.

Unique Boxed and TIG welded Steering arms,

Aircraft grade Alloy Stub axle Block (designed to give optimum Scrub Radius) with High Tensile steel Steering arm drive plate, and unique threaded bottom Pin.

Camber Shims are also fitted for easy adjustment of Camber.

Unique Extra Large Diameter High Tensile Steel Stub axle and Bearings making this the most reliable Stub axle out there.

Aircraft Grade Alloy Wheel Hub with threaded Grease Cap and Extra large VW type Hub Nut.( Makes for easy and clean removal of Hub if required).

Supplied with Grease Cap Ring Spanner.

GRP4 Fabricated "Zero Bump steer" Reverse mounted Cross member and Steering rack Support Bracket. (Stops the Rack moving left to right under pressure).

Heavy Duty Steering Rack and Tie rods with In-situ Rose Joined ends. 

GRP4 Fabrications Safari Spec Triple skinned Tension Body Brackets and Heat treated Tension Bars.

Threaded Tubes to suit Bilstein 40mm Inserts. (Please select from our drop down menu).These will not be required if using Reiger or any other Type of Suspension).

Optional Reiger Suspension also available. (Please select from our drop down menu).

Caliper Brackets and Alloy Bells to Suit a range of 15" and 13"AP Racing Brakes. (Please select from our drop down menu).

Anti roll bar kits can be supplied at extra cost for fine tuning of Handling.

All Rose Joints used are Top Quality Aurora Brand.

This Kit will not suit Vauxhall Xe engined Escorts due to not enough clearance for the Dry sump pan
